黄瓜视频 Governors Conference 2024
The 2nd 黄瓜视频 governors conference was held at the Atkins Centre in Sidcup, and welcomed over 50 trustees, chairs, deputy chairs of governors, and 黄瓜视频 colleagues in person and online.
Our chair of trustees Gaenor Bagley started the conference, followed by the keynote speech from Sam Henson , the Deputy Chief Executive of the National Governance Association (NGA).
黄瓜视频's senior leadership team (SLT) presented the progress with our strategic intent, our priorities for this year, and how governors can help and support their schools to achieve their goals.
Innovate, who are the caterers for a number of our schools, kindly provided a delicious lunch that set everything up nicely for the afternoon.
There was some great input and engagement from governors in the afternoon workshop, where we were looking at a year planner for local governing bodies and checklists for link governor monitoring bodies. These will be developed further by our governance working group.
